Debra Scacco (b.1976, New York) received a BA in Studio Art from Richmond University (London, 1998). 

Selected exhibitions and projects include: Inaugural Artist-in-Residence (Statue of Liberty National Monument and Ellis Island Museum, 2012), Richiama (Ellis Island Museum, NYC, 2012), (text)ure (Patrick Heide Contemporary Art, London, 2012), Birds of Passage (Solo exhibition, Marine Contemporary, Los Angeles, 2012), Royal Academy Summer Exhibition (Royal Academy of Arts, London, 2010), Jerwood Drawing Prize (Jerwood Space followed by UK national tour, 2009/10). Publications include The Los Angeles Times, ArtInfo, ArtinAmerica. Scacco's work can be found in private and public collections internationally. 

After living in London for 16 years, Scacco has recently relocated to live and work in Los Angeles. 

Scacco is a regular contributor to the Huffington Post Image Blog, and is represented by Marine Contemporary in Los Angeles.
