Creators Aid for Japan

Plus 81 Japan Creative Association invited international artists and designers to send a message to Japan in response to the devastating natural disasters that place in March 2011. As her response, Scacco rendered traditional Japanese symbols in the form of delicate dot patterns. The butterfly represents the personification of the human soul. The crane is a symbol of loyalty, love and peace. The sakura is a metaphor for the ephemeral nature of life; the life of the blossom is short, beautiful, and widely celebrated. These three symbols together represent hope, commitment, courage and rebirth.

All proceeds from the project went to Red Cross.
