In Transition

A Place of Water

In Transition

In Transition allows visitors to experience a physically impossible space. Using only light as a tool for manipulation, the work creates a cyclical world in a constant state of flux. Each impression visible in the work once existed in reality; yet the layering and punctuation of imagery spanning years deconstructs both the linear narrative of time and the concrete nature of place. The digital nature of the work leads to false assumptions that it has been created through post-production processes and manipulation. Yet every element of the environment the visitor experiences was once rooted in the tangible world.
